TYLER BECK

Pitching Instructor

Tyler Beck is a hometown guy, born in South Bend, IN and is a graduate of South Bend Saint Joseph High School (2014). Currently he is a free agent and former minor league pitcher with the Washington Nationals and Minnesota Twins Organizations. Originally drafted by the Minnesota Twins (2019), where he spent five seasons before signing with the Washington Nationals (2023). He has made it as high as AAA with both organizations, while compiling 66 appearances, 3.93 ERA, 158 INN, 183 SO and a 1.32 WHIP.

 

During his collegiate career he spent time at Purdue University (2015) as a two-way talent before making the decision to transfer to Pasco-Hernando State College (2016-2017) a D2 Junior College in New Port Richey, FL. After getting national recognition as a pitcher and student, he transferred to The University of Tampa (2018-2019) as a pitcher only. As a senior at Tampa, he won a National Championship, while earning All-Sunshine State Conference First Team selection... ABCA/Rawlings, D2CCA, and NCBWA First Team... All-American NCBWA honorable mention. Later that season he was selected in the 30th round of the 2019 MLB draft as a 5th year senior. 

 

Throughout Tyler’s career he has had to deal with much adversity. He would love to share his journey with you through his UCL rehabilitation, recruiting process, player development, and overall baseball experience to give you the best ability to achieve your goals.
