Nate Kelly

Hitting and Fielding Instructor

Nate Kelly, born in South Bend, IN is a graduate of Penn High School (2021). At Penn, Nate was honored as team captain, 1st team all-NIC, 1st team all-NIC academics, and second in the conference in BA (.405).

 

After tremendous success at the high school level and multiple offers  ranging from D1 to NAIA, Anderson University was ultimately decided as home, furthering his baseball career. Nate started in his first collegiate game at just 18 years old, in Anderson's very first series in 2021.

 

During his collegiate career he was further recognized for his academics (HCAC all academic team 2022)  and made Dean's list 5/6 semesters in college as a Pre-Med student.

 

After battling numerous injuries, namely, a torn UCL requiring season ending surgery, Nate was honored as the MIP on the Anderson University baseball team his junior year.  As time went on, Nate developed a passion for coaching the game of baseball.

Nate has helped numerous local baseball players with their hitting, fielding, pitching, and mental performance. Within the Summer of 2022, Nate gave private lessons to youth baseball players in the area, some of which he still helps today.

Nate sees the performance center as an opportunity to help more players than he could ever tackle on his own. Further igniting his love for coaching.

 

Though not finished, Nate's career has allowed him to absorb and learn from incredible coaches, as well as develop strategies and methods unique to him. He would love to share his insight with you through his research and overall baseball experience to give you the very best chance to play college baseball.
